Labels have infinitely varying priorities for their physical performance, not least their design, and because printing processes are complex and use widely differing methods to bring ink to substrate, the label material is critical.

A wide range of materials and adhesives are offered which can be tuned to the function of the label and the surface to which it is being adhered. Label finishes can be used to either protect a label against abrasion or chemicals, or to meet specific Point of Sale criteria.
