Printing Process: Hotfoil

Hotfoil Blocking is good for short runs of many label types used for a vast array of applications. Its key forte is in metallic printing where the lustre of the print can be second to none - if required. It is possible to print normal colours too, and in some cases it has the ability to print a matt 'foil' (ink) onto glossy surfaces or a glossy 'foil' onto matt surfaces - providing an extra aesthetic dimension.

Suitable label materials are many and can be finished by adding in-line over-laminating, providing a cost affective appearance enhancement or protective layer to discourage attack from chemicals. There are physically strong barriers too, useful for membrane switch panels etc.

Our long experience with Hotfoil and dedication to quality enables us to provide realistic guidance to questions posed about its suitability for most end uses and designs. From industrial chemical labelling to perfume labelling in reels or sheets, Hotfoil can be the answer.
