Flexography suits medium to long runs of many label types used for a growing array of applications - including those that require good light fastness. It excels in 'process' printing where the standard four colours combine to produce a wide gamut of colours and shades such as those required in photographs, by using dots of different sizes or pitches. It is normal to print solid colours too, where the widely known Pantone colour guide is frequently quoted.
Suitable label materials are many and can be finished by adding in-line over-laminating or the even more cost-effective U.V. Varnishing - either will provide a cost affective appearance enhancement or protective layer to discourage attack from chemicals or simply to enhance the appearance.
Our knowledge of Flexography and inclination to push the techniques boundaries, helps us to provide solutions and realistic guidance to questions posed about the suitability for most end uses and designs.
From toiletry labelling to cost effective Thermal Transfer printable labels in reels or sheets, Flexography can be the answer.
